Infant
Ages: 3 months - 24 months
Our carefully prepared environment provides a warm, home away from home feeling where each child is free to move, explore, and discover without traditional constraints.
The developmentally appropriate material and activities that support the child through each stage of infant growth and 1 teacher to 3 infants ratio will ensure that your child receives personalized attention and care though out the day.
Toddler
Ages: 18 months - 2 ½ years
Our Toddler classroom consists of 1 teacher to 4 children, a ratio lower than the State
requires us to maintain.
In this way, we are able to maintain closer
relationship with the children and offer more attention to those within our care.
Preschool
Ages: 2 ½ to 5 Years
Our Preschool class consists of 8 children to 1 teacher, a ratio lower than the State
requires us to maintain. Here we add to the basic
principles that children are already familiar with.
The areas of Montessori
that are covered in our preschool classroom are Practical life, Sensorial, Math,
Science, Language, Geography, Art and Music & movement.
The children are
offered two opportunities per day to explore the outside world during outdoor
free-play time. They are also given the chance to rest their bodies and reflect on
the day’s events during our “quiet time” (nap time).
