Our full time program is available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
These subject areas are presented throughout the school day:
“...We were with Marconi Montessori for two and a half years and in that time frame, my kiddo learned school-ish things like
phonics, reading, writing, science, and math, but also how to be a friend, how to handle problems and conflicts,
and how to do things on his own.
Any issues that came up ... were addressed quickly and I was always kept in the loop. All the teachers have been wonderful and supportive.
Marconi Montessori offers flexible schedules to fit any need and were always willing to work with us if we needed to adjust for anything.
They have fun on-site and off-site field trips monthly, water play days during the summer, and are constantly finding
new and exciting things for the kids to do.
I fully recommend Marconi Montessori for anyone looking for a safe, fun, educational experience for their children.”

“My sons Tor and Xander both attended Marconi Montessori School with Ms. Hiresha and her team for a
little over a year all together. When we moved to Sacramento we searched many places for a
great pre school for our sons and this was by far the best one out there.
This proved to be right when we started and both our sons, 3 and 4 years old has thrived there since day 1.
Our boys loved the class environment which is small and concentrated and so did we as parents.
Ms. Hiresha and her teachers has created a great atmosphere for kids and they succeed in letting the kids
have fun while learning many many new things in the Montessori system.
Our boys are very advanced in their mathematical and their writing skills compared to other pre schools out there.
We learned this as we have now moved out of town and into a new pre school.
The days were never the same at Marconi Montessori School, once a week the boys did yoga,
other times a music teacher was invited to teach the boys new instruments.
Parent nights and continuous evaluation was also a part of the days at school and it was never a problem to talk to
Ms. Hiresha or the other teachers about any challenges or concerns we might have.
We as parents always felt safe dropping our boys off in the morning. We as a family miss Ms. Hiresha and her team
and would always recommend her pre school to any parent in the Sacramento area.”

“My husband and I were very nervous enrolling our toddler into school. We had one experience prior and it
was unpleasant for our son and us. I can not even begin to sing the praises of the faculty at Marconi
Montessori School.
When our son started the program they would call me and let me know he was doing well. As a new Mom,
this was appreciated and it was a reflection of their attention to detail. They are compassionate and
each day our son is excited to go to school and sad when it is time to leave. He is learning so much,
even attending only two days a week. They focus on your child, where his/her learning is at. They do
activities throughout the year from an Easter egg hunt, growing a vegetable garden, and many more daily
activities to stimulate your child's development.
I could go on and on about our satisfaction with this school! We can not wait to see all he learns in
the next six months.”

“My experience with Marconi Montessori school has been wonderful. My daughter had never been cared for
outside of family members so when looking for a place to care for her I knew I needed her to be with
people who were patient, compassionate and caring. A place that would allow her to learn not only about
the world but also allowed her to develop her own individuality. Melia has always been a very bright
child but since she has been with Marconi Montessori she is much more confident!”

“My daughter Noelle has been attending the Marconi Montessori School for nearly three to four months.
The staff shows considerable and genuine interest in the wellbeing of all the children who attend this
truly lovely and magical little school, which encourages children’s; imagination, developing positive
attitudes, and stimulating activities.
For example, my daughter can now hold her spoon or fork and eat on her own, something as simple as
feeding herself has given Noelle a sense of independence.
Which is why I continue to take my
daughter to her home away from home Marconi Montessori.
Thank you so much to Ms. Chris and
Hiresha for helping and guiding my daughter into becoming her best individual self she can be, as well
as continuing to show excellent communication skills.
This school truly does help children form ”habits that are essential for a lifetime of creative thinking
and learning.” I am proud to be a Marconi Montessori parent!”

“We were very hesitant when we started considering schools for our first child. He was tremendously shy
and terrified of strangers. After interviewing many schools in the area we decided to “try” Marconi
Montessori School which appeared to have the calmest atmosphere and didn’t feel like your traditional
class or “daycare” setting. The teachers were engaged with the students on the children’s level and it
just buzzed with a fun loving – welcoming environment. It was the genuine care of the staff at Marconi
Montessori School that made a world of difference for my son who nearly instantly began to blossom. We
knew this was the school for us and he was joined by our second child shortly thereafter. Our son has
since graduated and moved on into Kindergarten where he was MONTHS ahead of his peers.
We are continually impressed with every aspect of the Marconi Montessori School! No parent ever wants to
leave their child each day, but knowing that the teachers here have their priorities properly aligned,
truly care, and are actively engaged in the lives of these children make it easy. ... Mrs. Hiresha and
Mrs. Kris were AMAZING with the kids. I cannot even put into words how much warmth, concern, strength,
and love came from these teachers. Now that the school is in process of renewing itself, they have
engaged the children to “make it their own”. I’m impressed every day by these teachers.
The beauty they encourage in their students is testimony to their incredible talents. To me, and mine,
this is not just a school… it’s our extended family!”

“Wonderful Staff that actually care about the kids and their development. My son used to be shy and
hated books... Now he's graduating into "big boy" school and is writing and working on reading... He
can't get enough. He needed extra care to get his interest peaked and the staff went out of their way.
The director has been wonderful in working with us every way she can. 6 Stars!"

“As a fairly new mom, the importance of leaving your child in an environment where they will be cared is
so important. I feel my son is very cared for at this school. The passion these teachers have for their
chosen profession can be seen in how they treat each child. It also helps that morning drop offs are
more successful than not and he is NEVER in a rush to go home when I pick him up! Despite being out of
way for my work commute, I am willing to make the drive to this school for my son." (5* Review)

Facebook Review
In 1890 a young girl from a well to do family decided to take up medicine as a career. This decision was
to have a tremendous impact on thousands of lives. She became the first woman in Italy to receive a medical
degree. The girl was Maria Montessori
– Physician, feminist, social reformer and an educator.
From 1896 to 1901, Montessori worked with and researched, children experiencing some form of
mental retardation, illness, or disability and this leads her to devise a new method of education
because she thought the method in place at the time was not serving the needs of the children. She
observed that children have developmental periods in which they are primed to learn different things.
Her approach to teaching disabled children was completely new.
Instead of the traditional methods that included reading and reciting, she taught the children
by using concrete materials, She determined that learning was not memorizing but sensing and
experiencing things. The disabled children scored higher than average children on the same test then she
wondered “Why can’t all children benefit from the same method?” So she opened a Casa dei Bambini or
Children’s House in the slums of Rome. Montessori had a big impact on education; because her methods
were different. She believed that each child is born with a unique potential to be revealed, rather than
as a “blank slate” waiting to be written upon. Her main contributions to the work of those of us raising
and educating children are in these areas:
•Preparing the most natural and life supporting environment for the child •Observing the child living freely in this environment •Continually adapting the environment in order that the child may fulfill his greatest potential — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
She died in 1952, but her legacy, with Montessori education is practiced in an estimated 20,000 schools worldwide, serving children from birth to eighteen years old.
At Marconi Montessori School we proudly continue this tradition.
